We are pleased to announce that Shoba Cole, from ck architecture, will be appointed as ACT Chapter President on Tuesday 13th June at the Chapter Council meeting.
Shoba has incredible knowledge in many facets of our industry and will bring allot of energy to the role. She has been an ACT Chapter Councillor and contributed to many events and forums over the years. Her passion for recognition of first nations people and designing for country will be very beneficial to our agenda and aligns strongly with The Institute’s support of the Uluru Statement and Voice to Parliament.
Shoba’s humble and witty personality, combined with her in depth knowledge of our planning system and project procurement makes her a perfect representative of our members. Shoba will be hitting the ground running with several key areas of government consultation forthcoming.
Shoba’s election comes following the elevation of current president Jane Cassidy to the role of National President elect. We are incredibly delighted to see yet another ACT member reaching the pinnacle position of our member-based organisation.
Please join us in welcoming Shoba to the role.
