FAREWELLING OUTGOING VICTORIAN STATE MANGER TIM LESLIE FRAIA

We would like to recognise and thank Tim for his great work over the last two years, and prior as chapter councillor.

Originally, Tim planned to take on the role of Victorian State Manager for six months to assist the Chapter through what was a very busy period of activity. However, as we know Tim to be, he became incredibly invested in the role and was keen to follow through on key advocacy and membership pieces – six months quickly stretched to a year, and one year then became two years of dedicated service.

Tim delivered a complex amount of high profile projects during his time at the Institute. His work on the Code of Novation, Apartment Standards, Framework for Reform, Senior Counsellor Service, Heritage development, and of course our Awards Program has seen him deliver an intense amount of activity. He leaves the Chapter, our members in Victoria and the Institute overall in a strong position, set for future success and growth.

We very much appreciate how Tim developed a sound platform from which the Chapter can move forward and upon which our successor, Daniel Moore RAIA, can continue and progress the work of the Institute. We wish Tim all the best in his new role at the OVGA and we look forward to continuing the dialogue with Tim, facilitating and promoting the best possible architecture across Victoria.
