Entries now open for Paula Whitman Prize

Entries are now open for the 2021 Paula Whitman Leadership in Gender Equity Prize.  

The Leadership in Gender Equity Prize recognises an Institute member with exceptional leadership that has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of gender equity in architectural practice, education and governance.

The prize is named after the late Paula Whitman, Queensland Architect, university professor and renowned advocate for gender equity in the profession. Whitman’s 2005-study, Going Places: The Career Progression of Women in the Architecture Profession, is considered one of the most important documents in understanding the expectations of women in architecture.

Entrants can be individual or collaborations, and must be current financial members of the Institute.
