studio gram’s new studio is a striking reimagining of the former Bowden Motor Repairs, transforming a once-industrial workshop into a vibrant, multifunctional design space. Rooted in its original raw structure, the space blends heritage with modern adaptability, reflecting the architecture Studio Gram produces.
At its core is flexibility. Designed to seamlessly shift from a traditional workspace to a venue for exhibitions, talks, and gatherings, the studio embraces its role as a catalyst for creative discourse. Its main workspace can be packed away, and the doors opened wide to welcome community, collaboration, and conversation.
More than just a workplace, studio gram’s home is a living framework for experimentation. An in-residence program invites creatives from diverse fields—spanning design, art, and education—encouraging rich cross-pollination and nurturing a culture of innovation.
Prioritising wellness as much as productivity, the studio is designed to support a balanced environment for both its team and visitors. It redefines what a design studio can be: not only a space for work, but a platform for connection, creativity, and cultural contribution.
studio gram’s studio sets a new benchmark for adaptive reuse and community-inclusive design—an enduring model of how architecture can inspire and engage.
