Woburn have responded to a complex set of design problems with an elegant design solution. Heritage, accessibility, life-cycle focused sustainability and community engagment are resolved and celebrated in a design language that is familar and intelligible to the diverse cohort of end users.
Woburn acknowledges with gratitude the contributions of Mt Eyk, A+A Macliver, AT Brine & Sons, Bill Smalley and Taycon
Seymour Clifford, principal of Woburn, met with our church council, parish wardens, parishioners, diocesan officers and City of Stirling planning and building officers to understand the complex requirements of this significant project.
Seymour resolved all of these requirements in a gestalt design comprising new accessible paths, landscape seating, public view corridors, new site levels and retaining, reinstatement of the rectory veranda and the church memorial garden, parking at grade, secure screening, landscape planting and reinstatement of the church parvis.

We express our gratitude to their Elders and Knowledge Holders whose wisdom, actions and knowledge have kept culture alive.
We recognise First Nations peoples as the first architects and builders. We appreciate their continuing work on Country from pre-invasion times to contemporary First Nations architects, and respect their rights to continue to care for Country.
