Luxelakes Boracay in Chengdu, Sichuan, China is a multi-tower luxury residential precinct that gently blends nature and contemporary design. Consisting of eight multi-residential towers ranging from 24 to 39 storeys in height, two distinctive gatehouses, integrated retail spaces, and a series of themed elliptical courtyards. The Luxe Lakes precinct is over 4,227 acres, set in Chengdu’s sub-tropical climate on a prominent urban wetland.
The design of the towers is inspired by the concept of courtyard gardens, with each tower featuring three different floor plates arranged in a varied pattern which creates a dynamic texture across the facades, making each tower unique and visually engaging. The crown of each tower is also individual, contributing to a varied roofline silhouette. Each tower is highly refined, with distinct form, colour and detail evident.
Oval-shaped courtyards at ground level are framed by balconies, establishing a strong connection between the towers and the surrounding landscape.
