Headland Terraces, part of The Shoreline precinct in Coffs Harbour, is designed around the values of community, connection, and care. Its architecture embraces natural light, expansive views, and human-scaled spaces, fostering both wellbeing and social interaction.
The building is carefully oriented to its coastal hinterland context, ensuring minimal overshadowing and maintaining privacy, while façades of stone, timber, and fine-grain detailing reduce scale and integrate it with its surroundings. Apartments are planned for light, ventilation, and views to Macauleys Headland, Jetty Beach, and the Great Dividing Range.
Collaboration between Bachrach Naumburger Group, FM Glenn, de Groot + Benson, and Reddog Architects was central to the project, continuing from concept to completion through on-site and remote meetings.
With sustainable strategies including shading, cross-ventilation, and landscaping that enhances biodiversity, Headland Terraces delivers enduring value. Beyond accommodation, it offers comfort, dignity, and a genuine sense of community for residents.
