Media summary

The project draws inspiration from its coastal setting, using honest materials and simple forms that priorities clarity over spectacle. Designed with quiet confidence, the architecture feels grounded, purposeful, and suited to everyday living.

Sitting comfortably within North Fremantle’s existing fabric, the development respects the scale of neighboring homes while opening towards coastal views. Parking and services are discreetly concealed beneath a landscaped level that reads as a shared garden, softening the street edge and creating a calm communal space.

Each residence is planned for real life, intuitive layouts balance areas for entertaining and retreat. Private lifts, courtyards, and roof terraces give each home a sense of identity without unnecessary embellishment.

Structural, mechanical, and landscape strategies were integrated from the outset, ensuring a cohesive outcome. Guided by cost efficiency, durability, and passive design principles, the result is sustainable housing that responds thoughtfully to climate, context, and the needs of its residents.

Cornerstone is a boutique collection of residences overlooking the North Fremantle coastline. Residents enjoy a rare balance of vibrant North Fremantle culture and the calm, riverside lifestyle of Mosman Park.

Cornerstone on McCabe delivers the luxury and convenience of townhouse living, paired with the privacy and individuality of a standalone home. Each residence is thoughtfully designed to maximise privacy while offering exceptional spaces for entertaining, including private lifts, open plan living, generous courtyards, and expansive roof terraces.

A landscaped central concourse features native flower beds, olive trees, and coastal planting, creating tranquil garden sanctuaries that enhance beauty, seclusion, and living.
