BDO Perth is a 3,350 sqm workplace that spans across two floors and responds to BDO’s vision to move away from a regimented, isolated, & homogenous working environment to an organic, interconnected, & diversified space that supports their people & business.
Through people-centric research, the design team drew inspiration from the ‘Savanna Principle’; spaces of privacy, pause or quietness considered moments of ‘refuge’, and spaces of collaboration& connection as moments of ‘prospect’ – each respective zone bearing its own identity & experience.
Our brief was a modern office environment able to evolve the BDO culture as we moved into the next phase of our journey. Woods Bagot and the project team have delivered a fitout that encourages a balance of energy, with activated and welcoming breakout and social spaces as well as dedicated quiet zones to enable people to ‘disconnect to reconnect ’.
