Artisan House embodies a harmonious fusion of contemporary innovation and classical elegance. Through strategic design choices, the space achieves a delicate balance between modern aesthetics and timeless principles, offering both visual allure and practical comfort for its inhabitants.
Nestled in the suburban enclave of Kew, Melbourne, the home emerges as a testament to the harmonious marriage of contemporary architectural principles with classical design sensibilities. Contemporary design flourishes as forms and geometries, evident in architectural elements such as soaring glazing and vertical fin wall, playfully dance with the timeless ideals of symmetry, scale, and repetition, inspired by classical ethos. The facade, consist of vertical fin walls arranged in classical manner not only adds depth but also serve to balance its scale and proportion.
Wall Architects purposefully placed skylights, accompanied by straight and curved forms, to accentuate the interplay of light and shadow throughout the internal spaces. Compliment by high ceilings reaching up to 3.7 meters in the living area and 3.2 meters in the hallway, the design exudes a sense of grandeur and spaciousness, elevating the juxtaposition between contemporary innovation and classical elegance. The end result narrates a tale of harmony between contemporary and classical rationale, epitomized by the timeless allure of Artisan House.
