Architect: James Blackburn (1846) Visit this Gothic Revival masterpiece, considered one of Hobart’s most prominent colonial buildings. This convict-built, heritage-listed church is regarded by many as the Gothic masterpiece of James Blackburn, housing the oldest bells made for an Australian Church and three stunning Greek Orthodox chandeliers from Athens.
Open House is an annual architecture program that opens some of Tasmania’s most unique buildings to the public, including private homes and historic buildings across lutruwita Tasmania.
