Overview

Join us and the director of Hobart City Deal | Department of State Growth, Rod Malcomson, for a membership briefing session about the Greater Hobart Act 2019, which was created by the Greater Hobart Committee and is made up of Tasmanian Government Ministers covering four portfolios and the Mayors of Clarence, Glenorchy, Hobart and Kingborough councils. The objective of the Committee is to work collaboratively on strategic land use and infrastructure planning to help guide the growth and development of the city.

The Committee released a Vision for Greater Hobart in August 2021, and followed this up with the 30-Year Greater Hobart Plan in August 2022 which provides the strategic direction for the development of the city over the next 30 years.
