As part of our ongoing advocacy campaign NSW Chapter President writes to the Premier Berejiklian calling for the State and Federal government to bring forward infrastructure and capital works programs, and request buying local to fast-tracking approvals.
The NSW construction industry contributes enormously to our local economy. As such, stimulus measures aimed at the built environment are an excellent way to leverage monies into the economy, as was seen during the GFC stimulus packages. In order to ensure that COVID-19 Stimulus Package yields the strongest result, the Institute strongly urges the NSW government to implement and range of measures and approaches, outlined in full in the Letter to the Premier.
