Lighting has the ability to change our environment and the way we feel within a space, bringing emotional value to architecture and helping to create an experience for those who occupy it.  Light draws attention to textures, colours, and forms of a space, helping architects achieve their purpose. Vision is arguably the most important sense through which we enjoy architecture, and lighting enhances the way we perceive it.

In this Lean In session, Adam De Guara and Fay Greenhalgh of Glowing Structures, an award-winning Melbourne architectural lighting consultancy, will showcase the critical importance of lighting across different architectural settings, and share their recent lighting projects with us.  Working with a number of influential architects, their creative and unique approach to lighting design with a passion for sustainability and energy conservation reflects the growing trend towards carbon neutrality and cost efficiency.
