Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation
Victoria
Tullamore is a forty-seven hectare residential community in Doncaster, fifteen kilometers east of Melbourne’s city centre. Once a private golf course, the undulating fairways form the basis of the masterplan. The precinct prioritizes nature-first and protects eighty-five percent of existing native vegetation and dedicating thirty percent of the site to open space.
The masterplan harmonizes natural and built landscapes, with architectural form, materials, and colours blending with the bushland. Diverse lifestyle needs are accommodated through a variety of housing typologies and densities. Each home is designed in response to local site characteristics, maximising living amenity, outlook, orientation, and landscape preservation.
Tullamore carefully synthesises nature with urban living, ensuring the site’s history and ecology remain central to its identity. The result is a balance of social, environmental and economic value, setting a new benchmark for sustainable communities of the future.
Tullamore has been meticulously designed to offer a superior living environment where residents can live, work, meet and play, aligned with Mirvac’s mission to reimagine urban life. The project’s sensitive design approach ensures seamless integration with the surrounding, fostering a community that enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and high-quality amenities. This is achieved through the preservation of existing vegetation and culturally historic landmarks.
Through careful planning and design, Tullamore setting a new benchmark for urban design and built form quality. Tullamore serves as a blueprint for creating special places and sustainable communities, laying a strong foundation and inspired for future generations.
