Qantas Adelaide Lounge Precinct | Architectus

The Qantas Adelaide lounge precinct at Adelaide Airport redefines the customer experience, incorporating regional influences into the airline’s refreshed lounge design. The existing Qantas Club was renovated and a Domestic Business Lounge was introduced with a shared entry and increased capacity throughout.  Works were staged to allow continued occupation of the spaces.  Each lounge is inspired by South Australia’s distinctive landscapes, including the Flinders Ranges, The Central Markets, the Botanic Gardens, Kangaroo Island and the South Australian coastline. Tailored to each customer tier, the new spaces are warm, inclusive, efficient, and easy to maintain. Locally sourced materials, furniture, and fittings reflect the Qantas customer – from the relaxed, family-friendly Qantas Club to the sophisticated Business Lounge. Grounded in wellbeing principles, the design engages the senses through colour, texture, natural light, planting, and materiality, supported by a durable fit-out that enables exceptional, reliable service for years to come.
