Nakari is 8 Hectares of farmland amongst beautiful rolling hills, 40 kilometres south east of Melbourne. The site was once the retirement property of Dr Jim Cairns, a former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and a leader of the anti Vietnam war protest movement.
The home is a dual key residence that enables an extended family to live seperate but connected lives. The site layout provides careful zoning to ensure that private and comunal spaces are well defined and that the beauty of the 270 degree views are drawn into the interior spaces.
Ultimately this is a carefully crafted ‘forever home’, that is worthy of its beautiful setting. It will age gracefully and support an extended family living well together.
