Media summary

This new seven‑level Sydney workplace signals a landmark investment in the future of one of Australia’s most prestigious legal institutions.

Designed by COX Architecture, the workplace translates the organisation’s guiding values into a spatial experience shaped by trust, discretion and uncompromising quality. Enclosed meeting and focus spaces are positioned at the core to preserve privacy, allowing daylight to illuminate the surrounding “floating” work zones. The outcome is an intimate, finely calibrated environment that supports the precision required of a top‑tier legal practice.

With panoramic harbour and city views, light is deployed as a refined design instrument, complemented by exacting craftsmanship that embodies the organisation’s ethos of “striving for mastery”. A sculptural floating travertine stair unites client and staff spaces, underscoring a progressive shift in how elite firms host and engage. A curated art collection deepens the sense of cultural stature, completing a workplace defined by quiet confidence and enduring elegance.

Cox has delivered a workplace that genuinely enhances how we work and connect with colleagues and clients. The Sydney centre design is warm, modern and people‑centred, using natural light to shape calm, spaces that support wellbeing and high performance. Increased and thoughtfully placed meeting areas create more opportunity for collaboration and connection, while alternative work and dining spaces ensure equitable access to harbour views. By blending craftsmanship, flexibility and purpose, Cox has created a workplace that supports diverse ways of working, enables our people to perform at their best and provides clients with an elevated and differentiated experience.
