M/27 is nestled behind the former SEC Heritage Substation that was constructed in 1932. To the rear boundary is the expansive Fremantle Park.
The project contains 40 apartments over 4 levels, in a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom configurations. Parking is provided at the basement and ground levels. The apartments capture sweeping views of the Fremantle port and adjacent Fremantle Park reserve and sports fields.
The development has successfully achieved key design drivers of the project brief summarised as follows;
Unlocking a complex development site, the clever use of space, and integration with the heritage context – M27 is a truely contextural built form response.
M/27 Parry Street builds on our substantial portfolio of high quality multi residential projects.
The design features 100% cross ventilated units in a mix of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom configurations, with views to the Fremantle Port and over the adjacent sports fields. The building responds to its heritage context through considered use of materials and forms. The balance between a contemporary design and a contextual response is a hallmark of this project. The location, design, materials, and heritage aspects of this project combine to make it a success from a sales and operational perspective.
