Icebergs Bar & Kitchen brings the spirit of Bondi’s iconic long lunch to Sydney Airport T3, translating a world-class dining experience into a fast-moving, transitional environment. The design embraces movement, using fluid curves, layers, and sculptural screens to create moments of pause, calm, and visual delight. Suspended tubular elements, hand-glazed Tuscan tiles, and focused lighting define immersive zones, including full-service dining, wine bar, casual dining and bar, and a caffè-to-go accessible directly from the concourse, while reflecting the colours, textures, and light of Bondi Beach. Photographs by Derek Henderson are embedded in graphic wall applications and inform tonal gradients, reinforcing the Icebergs identity and brand narrative. Every element is crafted in collaboration with technical and creative partners to balance operational efficiency, material innovation, and experiential quality. The result is a refined, enduring hospitality environment that elevates the traveller experience and sets a benchmark for design excellence in transport infrastructure.
