Media summary

The Administration Building at Faith Lutheran College reframes the school’s administrative core as a place of care, connection, and cultural identity. Developed from a brief that prioritised staff wellbeing as integral to student outcomes, the project positions educators at the centre of the learning environment while supporting pastoral engagement for the wider school community.

The building consolidates public, private, and collaborative functions into a cohesive workplace that encourages everyday interaction while accommodating sensitive student support with dignity and calm. Its planning reinforces clarity and ease of movement, contributing to a reassuring arrival experience for students, families, and visitors.

Grounded in the college’s Lutheran heritage and campus history, the project strengthens a sense of continuity and place. Through clarity of organisation and environmental responsibility, it delivers a resilient and adaptable educational workplace for contemporary school life.

Our new Administration Building has improved how we serve our community and care for students in everyday moments. It makes arrival simple and welcoming for families and visitors, and supports staff through well‑planned spaces for collaboration, leadership and calm decision‑making. For students, it provides a reassuring place to seek help, supporting wellbeing with privacy, protection and room to restore when needed. The thoughtful layout, soft transitions and natural light create an atmosphere of dignity and belonging. In a practical way, the building reflects our values of care, respect and service to others.
