Media summary

Elysian Subiaco is located at the southern end of the Rokeby rd high st, a precinct undergoing change. The desire from the project team was to create a quietly elegant and urbane addition to the street which would set a positive benchmark for its future development.

The design approach centred on careful research on the history of the original lot layouts, the structure of the street and the mannerisms of the various era’s of buildings that define the precinct.

The Ground plane accommodates three commercial tenancies currently occupied by a Delicatessen, a Pilates studio and a Workplace. The 34 apartments are a mix of two, three and four bed homes ranging from 90m2-173m2 which achieve an 8 star NaTHERS average.

Elysian Subiaco has proven to be a successful demonstration of collaboration across planning bodies achieving a positive outcome for the community, the client and project team.
