Located in Sydney’s Rose Bay, Constantia is a boutique development of twelve, three-bedroom residences. The project was designed with a luxury market in mind, paying tribute to the strong art deco tradition of the surrounding suburb. In collaboration with Charas Constructions, MHNDU have designed a multi-residential block that blends seamlessly into the low-rise, suburban context while also being architecturally expressive and unique.
Conceptually drawing upon the rich art deco heritage of the area, we have aimed for a modern twist, avoiding an overtly historic appearance. The final design aims to straddle across architectural periods, incorporating elements of art deco while maintaining a modern authenticity. Internally, the building caters to cater to modern tastes and lifestyle requirements, with a generous scale and seamless indoor-outdoor continuity.
