Australian Capital Territory
In this project, COX has striven to respond to the urgent task of addressing climate change by advocating for a built environment that minimises carbon emissions through appropriate densification, and passive environmental building solutions. The architectural approach was to address each frontage with a contextually appropriate architectural form with a well-mannered 8 storey building to Constitution Ave, and more whimsical, low scale walk-ups to Getting Crescent.
71 Constitution plays a quiet role as part of an urban vision that is both sustainable, comfortable and affordable for Canberrans, and provides much needed urban densification along a major Civic Avenue.
