Shoot the Architect is a brand new photographic competition held for the very first time this year, for all professional photographers in Queensland. The goal is to shoot a portrait of a Queensland based Architect utilizing photographic skill, artistic merit and playful imagination.
The 2011 Portrait Prize winner along with four Highly Commended awards were announced at the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects in conjunction with the President's Drinks on 25 November 2011. The Exhibition of all winners and finalists will continue at the Chapter 70 Merivale Street South Brisbane until 16 December during office hours 8.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
