TO: Tas Young Architects Group,
Below is an e-mail we received from Caroline Gifford, 2050 - Futureshock, Tasmanian representative. There is an introduction evening to Furtureshock being held in Tasmania on Monday June 27, 2005 at T42 from 5.30 to 7.30pm. To download the newsletter mentioned below, click here.
Good afternoon,
I'm writing on behalf of the committee of 2050 - Futureshock. 2050 is a national body for professionals under the age of 35 years in industries or occupations concerned with the built environment. 2050 is the vehicle for its members to participate in the debates and agendas that will shape Australia in the year 2050. It comes following a hugely successful forum called Youthquake in late November, 2004. The RAIA was involved in Youthquake and as such has been identified as a potential interested party in 2050. As such please find attached the first 2050 Newsletter. These newsletters will be regular updates in the leadup to the 2050 Forum to be held in Brisbane in on 25-27th November 2005 (note the newsletter refers to the week earlier however we have had to recently change the dates). As can be seen on the newsletter, there is a Tasmanian introduction to 2050 on Monday 27th June, interested participants can email tas@2050.org.au to RSVP.
Kind regards
Caroline Gifford |
