NEWCASTLE DIVISION JULY 2010 NEWSLETTER
|
Hello Members,
Welcome to July! Two months into the job now and I'm starting to settle in. Thankyou all for your patience during this transition period. It's been lovely to meet many of you at the Seminars and Tech Lunches, it's good to put faces to names! Thankyou also to the Newcastle Committee who've been extremely helpful while I find my feet.
Just so that you know a little bit about me, I'm a born & bred Novocastrian with over 20 years experience in Marketing, Advertising and Event Management. The Architecture world is new to me, but I believe I'll be able to bring a creative approach to delivering effective communications, events and professional services to the Newcastle Members.
Whilst most of our events are locked in this year, I am open to any suggestions or feedback on how we can improve our service to members, which I'll take on board when looking towards planning for 2011. Give me a call or shoot me an email if you have any great ideas!
For your information, office hours are 9.00am - 3.00pm (Mon - Fri). If you plan on coming in to collect contracts etc, it's a good idea to call me first to ensure I'll be in the office.
IMPORTANT: The office will be closed Thursday 8 July - Friday 16 July (I've been working so hard, I need a holiday already!) If you have any urgent enquiries during this time, please contact Dominique Kelaher in the Sydney Office on 9246 4055.
Anyway, thanks for making me feel welcome, and I look forward to seeing you at an event soon.
Jane Hextell,
Newcastle Division Manager
