SUPER Sydney
INVITATION FOR ANIMATORS
SUPER Sydney is the major project of the Sydney Architecture Festival. The project will establish a conversation with community members across the entirety of Sydney, revealing people’s understanding of their place, how it connects to the city more broadly and their vision for their place, contributing to a shared vision for the metropolis.
The project creates a platform for the people of Sydney to share their ideas for their city, and places the architectural profession centrally as the collaborators in this vision.
The SUPER Sydney team seeks architects, landscape architects and designers who are passionate about deep community engagement to participate in the project as ‘animators’, interviewing community members (12) in one council area throughout Sydney. It will be a small commitment, taking approximately one day of the animator's time. The project will be launched as part of Vivid Sydney, 10am-12noon June 8, and interested architects should contact Andrew Burns, Tim Williams or Gillian Redman-lloyd to attend the event on SuperSydney@architecture.com.au
