2011 Tasmanian Architecture Awards to be announced

Impressive new architectural projects vie for top honours this Saturday (18th June) at the Australian Institute of Architects' 2011 Tasmanian Architecture Awards.

In total, 30 projects from Tasmania - from interesting and unique houses to striking contemporary learning spaces - will be in the running for Architecture Awards and Commendations.
Tasmanian Architecture Awards Jury Chair, Peter Poulet, will announce this year's winners at a special awards ceremony at the IXL Atrium, Hobart.

All Architecture Award recipients automatically qualify for the prestigious National Architecture Awards being held at MONA near Hobart on Thursday 3 November.
