Which Way? - Directions in Indigenous Housing
A national conference shaping the future of housing for indigenous communities
We are delighted to announce the 2007 National Indigenous Housing Conference titled ‘Which Way? - Directions in Indigenous Housing’ taking place in Alice Springs from 26-27 October. The conference will explore a range of indigenous housing issues and possible solutions from the perspective of communities, government representatives, housing organisations, consultants, academics and contractors.
The conference is an initiative of the Indigenous Housing Taskforce established by The Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA) to explore and address the many economic and political issues surrounding the supply of housing to Indigenous communities. The Taskforce includes representatives from around Australia including indigenous architects, and architects with life long experience in working with indigenous communities.
