Key dates
The dates for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2006 Vernissage (preview period) are September 7th, 8th & 9th. The Official Opening of the Australian Exhibition in the Australian Pavilion is planned for September 7th. The Venice Architecture Biennale is open to the public from September 10th to November 19th 2006. For further information on the International exhibitions please click here.
Special passes to the Venice Architecture Biennale - Vernissage
The RAIA, facilitating the Australian exhibition in Venice, expects to receive a limited number of Vernissage passes giving access to the preview, for the use of our sponsors and members.
If you are an RAIA member wishing to visit during the Vernissage and would like a Vernissage pass, please email your details to venice.biennale@raia.com.au. Include your name, title and employer address if applicable and full contact details. We will place you on our pass request list. We are hopeful there will be enough to meet all requests.
We are also hoping to announce an airline sponsorship in the coming week. Benefits from this will allow special-priced tickets to RAIA members wishing to travel to Venice for the Architecture Biennale. Please email venice.biennale@raia.com.au if you would like further information.
