Specifying with Confidence

The NSW Chapter is pleased to announce a new series of complimentary CPD events for members. ArchiTECH has been developed to provide in - depth technical advice on building materials and products. The events will be conducted as formal 3-hour CPD sessions that should be attended by anyone responsible for making specification decisions on projects.

The first Archi-Tech event will feature four different product solutions. Manufacturers will deliver technical presentations and address the important questions that you as an architect need to know about when making specification decisions, such as:
Is the company ISO 14001 certified? Is the product recyclable? What impact does the product have on indoor air quality? And more...

LATITUDE 33 DEGREES

In conjuction with the Council on Australian Latin American Relations, please join us for a unique evening of architectural exchange.
Mathias Klotz and Carla Ruttimann from Chile will join us for a discussion on design issues for other nations living on latitude 33 degrees. They will describe the character of the Chilean landscape, elemental features that make Chilean architecture distinguishable and the challenges that Chilean climate and landscape present to architecture.
