2010 Tasmanian Architecture Awards
Tasmanian Architecture Awards 2010 supplement
Winners of the 2010 Tasmanian Architecture Awards were announced on Saturday 19 June at a ceremony in the IXL Atrium in Hobart. Over 150 members, sponsors, VIPs, and guests enjoyed the night.
Special guests included the Governor, who presented the main awards, the Premier, who presented the John Lee Archer Triennial Prize, the Immediate Past National President, Melinda Dodson, who presented the President’s Prize, and the Lord Mayor, Rob Valentine, who presented the inaugural People’s Choice Prize. The evening was also attended by Brian Risby, National Councillor from PIA, Minister David O’Byrne, Deputy Lord Mayor of Hobart, Helen Burnet, and Executive Director of the Tasmanian Building & Construction Industry Training Board, Peter Coad.

Congratulations also to Rosevear Architects for receiving a NSW Architecture Award for Sullivan Holm House, which was presented at the NSW Architecture Awards on Friday 18 June.
The Awards exhibition is still available for viewing in the IXL Atrium until Sunday June 27. it will then travel to the Design Centre in Launceston from Monday 5 July to Sunday 18 July and at the award winning Burnie Maker’ Workshop from Monday 9 August to Sunday 22 August.
