Except where stated otherwise, the following Australian schools of architecture offer courses recognised and accredited by the Australian Institute of Architects, the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA) and the relevant state/territory architects registration boards. The AACA maintains an official listing of Accredited architecture courses in Australia. Bond University, Soheil Abedian School of Architecture (the architecture program at Bond University, introduced in 2011 received a successful Preliminary Assessment visit in 2012 by the Institute, Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA) and the Board of Architects of Queensland. A Preliminary Assessment is the first step in the process to obtain full accreditation.

(The Bachelor of Design program at Charles Darwin University is of three years duration. A course of study undertaken in a minimum of five years is fundamental to obtaining full recognition. This is equivalent to the first stage of a two stage five year architecture program. Students graduating from the Bachelor of Design (specialisation in architecture) with a Credit average can directly enter the fourth year of Deakin University's Master of Architecture program.)
