Who can enter?
(eligibility)

The 2009 Bluescope Steel Glenn Murcutt Student Prize is open to:

  • Students who have completed an Australian Institute of Architects /SONA recognised Australian architecture course in 2007; and
  • Undergraduate students enrolled in an Australian Institute of Architects /SONA recognised Australian architecture course during 2008.

For the purposes of the prize, students at Australian Architecture schools represented on the Australian Institute of Architects/SONA national committee are considered eligible to enter this competition.

Design work submitted by students is to have been undertaken within the Australian architecture course in either 2007 or 2008.

Schools/programs of Architecture may not submit work on behalf of a student. Only one entry per person may be submitted. Group entries are not permitted.

Work that was short listed for the 2008 Australian Institute of Architects & COLORBOND® steel Student Biennale is not eligible.

Work short listed for the 2009 Bluescope Steel Glenn Murcutt Student Prize will be ineligible for entry into the 2010 Australian Institute of Architects Student Biennale.

Australian Institute of Architects/SONA members who are shortlisted for the 2009 Bluescope Steel Glenn Murcutt Student Prize will be unable to participate in the electronic voting process open to SONA members.
