Cassie Southon (from Deakin University) received the most votes in this SONA competition for her entry - Verandah Hotel. Joshua Morrin (SONA Immediate Past President) represented Cassie at the National Jury deliberations in August.
The overall winner of $8000 and a trip to the National Architecture Awards will be announced in Architecture Week 22-28 October 2007. Best of luck to all finalists!

Introduction
The RAIA Bluescope Steel Glenn Murcutt Student Prize has been established to recognise outstanding architectural student work which demonstrates excellence in response to place, technology and Australian culture.
The prize is presented every second year at the RAIA National Architecture Awards.
Prize winning and short listed designs are exhibited on the RAIA and SONA websites.
The RAIA acknowledges the generous support of Bluescope steel as sponsor of the prize and Glenn Murcutt as patron.
