Annabelle Pegrum is a professorial fellow at the University of Canberra, head of design within the Faculty of Arts and Design, and the University Architect. She has wide-ranging experience as an architect, academic and public servant.

Prior to joining the University she was the chief executive of the National Capital Authority, the Commonwealth agency responsible for the planning and development of Canberra as the national capital. Before that she held a number of senior executive positions with the ACT Government. In 1998 she was the Telstra ACT Business Woman of the Year and in 2001was awarded a Centenary Medal. Annabelle is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects and a former President of the ACT Chapter.
