The 2012 National Architecture Conference will take place 10 – 12 May 2012.

The 2012 National Architecture Conference is SOLD OUT.  We no longer have a wait list and are at maximum capacity for both days of the program.

Opening Party tickets can be purchased on the door at GoMA from 6.00pm Thursday 10 May for $95.00 (cash or credit card payments accepted).

Please note:

  • Conference tickets do not include any of the following social activities: Opening Party, Brisbane Awards or Architecture tours. These are all additional activities and costs.
  • Directors of firms with 'Practice Memberships' with the Australian Institute of Architects are entitled to 'Institute Member' ticket prices.
  • Overseas members must be members of the Institute of Architects, but based outside of Australia.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations or alterations to a registration must be made in writing to the Australian Institute of Architects: experience@architecture.com.au.

All cancellations and refunds will incur an administration fee of $100. No refunds will be issued after 14 days out from the event. Should you be unable to attend a substitute delegate is welcome. 'No Shows' to the event will be charged the full registration fee.

Ticket types & information

The 2012 National Architecture Conference will take place 10 – 12 May 2012.  On Thursday 10 May, fringe and social activities will take place, including architecture tours, the Opening Party, SONA Master Class and clubSONA.  On Friday 11 and Saturday 12 May the main conference sessions will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Early bird registrations will close at 5.00pm Monday 2 April 2012 AEST.

Full Conference tickets
These tickets allow access to all conference sessions and lunch on Friday and Saturday. This ticket is for the registered individual only and any continuing professional development points will be award to them alone. These tickets do not include any conference social events.

Single Day tickets
This ticket allows you to attend a single day only. You will have access to all conference sessions, and lunch on the selected day only. This ticket is for the registered individual only and any continuing professional development points will be award to them alone.

Graduate, Retired, Academic, Affiliate and Overseas Members
This ticket provides discounted conference registrations for Graduate, Retired, Academic, Affiliate and Overseas members of the Australian Institute of Architects. Tickets are for the registered individual only and any continuing professional development points will be award to them alone.

Student tickets
As there is a significant discount for students, there will not be any single day tickets available. Student tickets allow access to all conference sessions, and lunch on Friday and Saturday. The student non-member ticket includes an annual SONA membership - see www.sona.com.au. Both the student member and non-member tickets are for the registered individual only.

A+ tickets
All A+ Members and Practices are entitled to the associated discounted conference ticket prices. For more information on A+ membership please click here

Flexi tickets
These tickets are fully transferable between different employees of the same practice, with the condition that only one person per Flexi Ticket purchased may attend the conference at any one time. The ticket can be left for collection, at the registration desk or you can arrange alternative transfer with co-workers. This ticket allows access to all conference sessions for one person per session, and one lunch on Friday and Saturday.

Group Special
The Institute has organised a great special for groups wishing to attend the conference. If you purchase seven (7) full conference passes, you will receive the eighth (8) FREE.
