Victorian Chapter CPD

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) talks and events are a core component of the Victorian Chapter's CPD program. The series aims to present topics that are inspiring and tangible, providing knowledge that attendees can put into practice. Speakers include Victorian-based architects, visiting international architects and specialist consultants from other built-environment disciplines.

Victorian CPD events that display a Refuel CPD badge, shown here, are eligible for CPD points.

The Victorian Architects Act and associated Architects Regulations 2015 require all practising architects to maintain the appropriate level of knowledge, skill and competence expected of the profession. The ARBV has defined CPD as one way architects can ensure that they maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills, to maintain technical excellence and to better serve the community and profession.

For more information about CPD, please see the Institute’s
Continuing Professional Development page. The following list of Institute CPD-approved voluntary activities demonstrates the ability to meet your CPD in a variety of ways (please check against the ARBV’s guidelines and requirements)

All A+ members of the Institute are required to accrue yearly CPD points regardless of their state of registration. For more information about CPD, please see the A+ FAQ page.
