Facility Management Exemplar Project, Sydney Opera House
Friday 2o April, 4.30pm - 6.00pm Melbourne Exhibition Centre Paul Akhurst, Facility manager, Sydney Opera House Stuart Bull, Arup David Marchant, Woods Bagot Hans Schevers, CMIT, CSIRO With Facility Management Association of Australia and the CRC for Construction Innovation, the Sydney Opera House was the leader of a case study to examine how so called digital modelling might be applied to the SOH for facility management. The Opera House is now over 30 years old and the lack of digital documentation, pressures of refurbishment, the complexity of the building and its iconic status, make this case study a unique example of the opportunities and challenges for property owners. This session is proudly supported by CRC for Construction Innovation. ![]()
