The new Helsinki Music Centre development is in the heart of Helsinki's cultural and civic square adjacent to the Parliament and Opera house. This project has used state of the art BIM technology to support a complex and challenging design problem to resolve the building's context in such an important precinct. Marko Kivistö is part of a practice that specialises in cultural facilities and has won several competitions and awards in the Nordic countries as well as in his home country Finland.
