Ingrid Richards

Ingrid Richards graduated in Architecture with First Class Honours in 1997 from the University of Queensland and commenced work with Cox Rayner the following year, to be made an associate of the practice in 2005.

Ingrid is a leading designer who has been largely responsible for major competition successes such as Singapore Management University and the Goodwill Pedestrian Bridge, Brisbane.

Her first role as project architect was for the James Street Market in New Farm, Brisbane which won the RAIA National Award for Commercial Architecture in 2003. She has since lead the teams for the recently completed Ferry Road Market in Southport and the Dodge Lane Redevelopment for All Hallows’ School in Brisbane.

Awards that Ingrid has received include; RAIA National Award for Commercial Architecture, 2003; RAIA State Beatrice Hutton Award for Commercial Buildings 2003; RAIA Building of the Year, Brisbane Region, 2002; and RAIA Urban Design Award, 2002.
