An initial rapid review of a particular practice type; the ‘corporate group’. At conferences we don’t often hear from these practices who make so many buildings, have contact with so much commercial / institutional activity around the hemisphere and who employ so many of us. These organisations have top people and key people. Some key people will do the talking this time.

The two advocates, the Question Crew and the Lucid Loungers will be tempted; who has the ‘urban smarts’ in Australia….the governments or the private sector? Are architects part of the intelligentsia* or just providers to the national speculative project? Who has real money and why won’t they spend it on buildings? (Note to selves; how come Australian architects never admit we are tyring to do first class stuff on an economy budget?)
